The Makeup Drawer: The Body Shop Face Products

Hey everyone! By the time I go through all my Body Shop products you guys are going to think I work for them- But I don't, I swear! Haha =) Today I'll go ahead and show you the face products I've purchased from them over the years.

The Body Shop Shimmer Waves in 03 Peach ($22 here- But I got mine on sale for $5)

This pretty shimmer brick is great for an all over glow but can also be used for blush or highlighter if you focus your brush on certain strips of color. I use this quite frequently but, to be honest, I don't think I would spend $22 on this- keep an eye out for it on sale though!
The Body Shop Baked-to-Last Bronzer in 02 Warm Glow ($21 here, but I think I got this on sale too haha)

This was one of the first bronzers I ever purchased! This is a beautiful product just to look at, haha- you can't see the full effect here, but it's beautifully marbled with pinks and champagnes and, of course, shades of bronze. I've even used it as a highlighter before by picking up color from the very lightest spots only.
The Body Shop Cheek Color in 03 Heather Pink ($15.50 here)

This is a basic and pretty pink blush with no shimmer and only a little sheen. It's pigmented, but not so much that you have to be super cautious not to apply too much. Like I said, it's basic- this is a good, solid blush but theres nothing SUPER special about it.
The Body Shop Radiant Highlighter ($14 here) and The Body Shop Skin Primer Matte it ($14 here)

I have previously featured the Skin Primer Matte It in a Think Twice post, which probably tells you how I feel about it, haha. However, the Radiant Highlighter went up again Benefit's High Beam in one of my Beauty Brawl posts and won =)

I'd check out those two post for more details on these products, but the short version is that I love the highlighter, hate the primer. The highlighter is a total dupe for Benefit's High Beam and gives a really pretty glow. However, the Skin Primer Matte It does NOT mattify at all and it even made me break out =(

Hope you enjoyed my latest installment of Body Shop products in my Makeup Drawer series =)
